Full of Eastern Palace Promise

Hi there everyone, I'm back again after missing a week of blogging due to a particularly nasty virus. I know there is a lot of it about but it really knocked me for six !

But here we are again , still recovering and hoping for a sunny Bank Holiday weekend......

Monday 1st May is the early release date for the Eastern Palace Collection. This means you can buy one of two bundles before the new Annual catalogue comes out on the 1st June.....sooo exciting.

Anyway I already have some of the goodies...one of the perks of being a demonstrator and have made a few projects to share with you this week

This rather exotic card is made from one of the new In Colours, it's called Fresh Fig...lovely isn't it ? i have also used some of the new designer papers from the collection, two of them are gold foiled and I have cut into one of them...had to be done..!

The sentiment is from the matching Stamp Set and along with  one of gold metallic doilies I've used a new metallic tassel and gold faceted gem..these are fab!

I have used another sentiment from the set and  another sheet of designer paper to make a wine bottle tag ...So , a card and a gift tag ready to go, just add a bottle.

Eastern Palace Collection...sneak peek

One of the perks of being a Stampin Up demonstrator is getting to see all the new stuff from the Catalogue first. During my weekend away at the Stampin Up convention in Amsterdam I also had the chance to order a selection of the new goodies.

The Eastern Palace Collection will be released early...on the 1st May in selected bundles so I thought I would let you have a sneaky peek to see if it's for you.

I have made a selection of items for a workshop I'm putting together and thought I would put all the little offcuts together to show you some of the lovely designer papers in this suite.

The card base is made from one of the new In Colours, Tranquil Tide, a fabulous greeny blue and the gold I have paired with this card makes the colours look even more opulent.

A Little Sparkle and Bling #GDP083

I made this card a little while back and hadn't got around to posting it and then I saw that this weeks challenge on the Global Design Project #083 is Sparkles and Bling...well hello !

I used a Whisper White notelet and a layer of Sahara Sand topped with one of my last pieces of Falling In Love Designer Paper...how I will miss this particular pattern especially.

I cut two of the Stitched Shape Oval Framelits in Gold Glimmer Paper and Whisper White and heat embossed 'Sparkle' from the Love Sparkles Stamp Set.

Definitely meets the challenge...pop over and look at the other entries or even have a go yourself.

Big on Birthdays Red and Yellow Card

Back to normal today after Easter, hope you all managed to have a bit of time off and eat plenty of chocolate

Today's card is a lovely bright card using the Big on Birthdays Stamp Set. 

I fancied making a colourful card to match the recent sunny weather and went with a Daffodil Delight card base. I used a layer of paper from the Sending Love Paper Stack and heat embossed the Happy Birthday sentiment with the spray of flowers. Fairly quick and easy but bright and cheerful too.

Beautiful You with Stylish Stems

Hello Everyone, 

It's that time of the month again... the Birthday Club Blog Hop. I hope you enjoy all the lovely creations from myself and my teamies !

I got the Beautiful You Stamp Set out again for my Mum's birthday on Thursday, it is so versatile and great for any ladies card.

As all the lovely Designer Paper Stacks are retiring from the current catalogue, I thought I had better get using them. The Stylish Stems Framelits are also going so I gave them another outing too.

The Soft Sky colour is set off by the Gold Glimmer Paper...as I have said before my Mum loves a bit of Bling !

Easter Envelope Punch Board Box

As my darling children are all grown up now, I dont usually do Easter Eggs for them any more. It's my Mum's birthday today and the family are all going out for a meal later to celebrate, so as we will all be together I made some little boxes with some mini eggs in them to hand out.

These little boxes are so easy to make using the Envelope Punch Board, the instructions for this one came from my lovely team leader, Pootles. You can find many of her tutorials on You Tube.

All this lovely paper is retiring at the end of May and won't be in the new catalogue, so if you want to buy a pad (or two) before it's all gone, go over to my online shop and check out the retiring products. Please don't leave it too long...it's all going fast.

I love using the paper stacks and I will really miss them when they are gone... BUT there is so much good stuff coming soon. The little 'happy' stamp comes from a new Stamp Set...ooh I can say no more !

I am sure the family will enjoy these tonight after our meal.

Parting is such Sweet Sorrow

Hiya, I am back from Amsterdam and so excited about the new catalogue ! It is FAB !! Unfortunately I am sworn to secrecy for now... but I can share with you some of the items that will be going at the end of May. 

If you want to see the whole list, pop over to my online shop and have a look. There are some reductions too and these items will all sell through fast, so if you have your eye on something get it while you can.

The five In Colours 2016-2017 are out and replaced with five new lush ones and most of the products used to make this card will not be available after 31st May.

The card was made for a swap last month ...the theme was female punch art , and I was stumped. After much thought this is my finished card. The Layering Circles and Ovals Framelits continue to be available in the new Catalogue along with the punch I used for the ice cream scoops...can you guess which one ? All the other products will sadly be disappearing.

Amsterdam Swaps

Woo hoo.....today I am off to Amsterdam !!

To celebrate the new Annual catalogue, Stampin Up hold a convention every year. This year it's in Amsterdam and I am joining other Demonstrators for a preview of the new Catalogue.

We will get our first look at the new stamps and paper that will be available from June 1st.

When we attend these events we take cards we have made to swap with other Demonstrators and here are the ones I have made.

I am still rather in love with the Remarkable You Stamp Set,and as I made 40 swaps I used both the flowers in the set and 10 different colours so I didnt get bored ! 

I now have a lovely rainbow choice of colours to suit all different tastes.

So I will now be having a few days oohing and aahing at paper and stamps....all you crafters out there get it....so be back soon.
